Metown Participates in ‘FaW Tokyo 2025’ with Support from KOFOTI, Accelerating Entry into the Japanese Fashion Tech Market

Hyper-realistic neural rendering AI startup Metown participated in ‘FaW Tokyo 2025’ from October 1 to 3, 2025, in Tokyo, Japan, supported by the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI).

FaW Tokyo is one of Asia’s largest fashion business exhibitions, bringing together global fashion brands, retailers, and technology innovators to exchange industry trends and cutting-edge solutions.

At the Fashion Tech Zone, Metown showcased its EVOVA 3D Showroom—an AI-powered solution capable of converting fashion items such as apparel, bags, and accessories into ultra–high-fidelity 3D models within 1–2 hours without the need for 3D designers. The technology drew strong interest from Japanese buyers and industry professionals.

Metown demonstrated interactive 3D product pages, customizable UX for brands, and high-precision material reconstruction—features that align well with the Japanese retail market's emphasis on detail and consumer experience.

Metown also highlighted that its core technologies were developed through major national support programs, including the Metaverse Lab Support Project funded by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

A KOFOTI representative noted, “Metown is one of the most globally promising Korean fashion-tech startups, and its competitiveness was clearly demonstrated in the Japanese market.”

Following FaW Tokyo, Metown plans to expand its global presence through upcoming exhibitions such as ‘Tech for Retail 2025’ in Paris and ‘CES 2026’ in Las Vegas.
